Nice and short game with interesting mechanics and atmosphere. I think the game can grow big if it can get longer with some kind of an 'endless mode' for example, or bigger story.
If this game has a multiplayer function, it would go through the roof like lethal company does right now. All because it has a funny reversed psychological effect to it

However, I did run into some illogical decisions made by the Dealer.
You can either watch how it played out in the video below between the times of 3:23:13 -3:26:29 (sorry for the excessive talking lol), or you can read the description below:
So in one of the earlier rounds (no items involved yet), we're shown there are 3 LIVE and 2 BLANK.
I go first by pulling the trigger on the Dealer. It comes up BLANK.
It's now 3 LIVE and 1 BLANK.
The Dealer takes a hold of the shotgun, points it at himself, and pulls the trigger. This is already an odd decision because his chance of survival was 25% at this point, but let's just assume the Dealer has an ego problem, and wanted to show off how lucky he can be. His decision ended up working in his favor. It came up BLANK, he survived, and he got another turn.
It's now 3 LIVE and 0 Blank.
At this point, I'm certain I'm dead. I just know he's going to point the shotgun at me, and shoot. Surprisingly, the Dealer turns the shotgun on himself, and pulls the trigger.
He had a 100% chance of dying if he pulled the trigger on himself.
I don't know if we, the players, are supposed to assume that the Dealer is never made aware of the starting LIVE vs BLANK ratio, but his decision made no sense if he did know.
Loved the game! It maintains the same atmosphere as the other games, only slightly different. I recommend this one if you already enjoyed this author's works and if you like Inscryption (reminded me a lot of it, with the mechanics and gameplay).
The only thing I wish it had more was different ways to interact with the environment in the beginning. Since the game is short, it stands strong as it is. If it was any longer, probably would've bothered me more.
Great game! The design and artwork are beautiful as always; our Dealer's design was really nice and creepy.
Honestly, I think my win was down to pure luck rather than skill. Really fun game and the items added a nice twist to the game rather than relying on chance.

here are some of my opinion about your game, and also i won 3 games in a row without even getting into death ending, i don't say i have pure luck, just my skills.
1 If this game would have a multiplayer, this would be a huge hit of this game on twitch and steam because now, i know some of us can win AI easily, but what about 2 human brains fighting each others online through this game?
2 if there is a story, then after the nightclub, there would might be a roguelike game where you die on 1 dealer, you go back to the past dealer until the champion which is just my guessing about the game.
3 more items, i don't know about my ideas, so it's up to you to figure it out yourself, and maybe your team, there might something more like a sheild item, a bigger healing item, a bigger dmg item like the saw, or some more other effects from what items idunno in the game.
I know your energy when you work on this game, especially the moment when selecting items causing 2 different animations between 2 characters, take it slow and you can make it big.

This is REALLY good. Harder modes and online multiplayer support could turn this into a legit sensation. Probably the best thing to ever come out of this site.
Hi i saw your game and bought it but can't play in it when i start it its blackscreen and crash i try on windows 7 windows 8 windows 10 and windows 11 but nothing try to start it like administrator steal nothing what should i do?

Fixed it. I had to update the drivers using the intel drivers tool because my pc apperantly couldnt detect that it was using 6th gen drivers in a 10th gen processor

Sadly I couldn't get it to run. Is there any way you could do a Linux build? From what I've seen it should be fairly simple to do in Godot.

This has crazy huge potential for a full on game possibly on steam.
I love the idea of a game like this but I also like the aesthetic and aura that this emanates.

When I try to start up the game i just get a black screen and the game crashes. Does this have to do with the fact that I have integrated graphics?
