Amazing game, as simple as thrilling :D Many ideas came while was playing it, now I share some for future consideration:
- AI: although mainly randomized to keep fairness, sometimes it causes steps a normal conscious player never would do. Examples: a) when inspects current round and it's blank, still uses handcuff despite the fact that shooting himself anyway earned extra round. b) When counting rounds, sometimes when only 2 or 3 live ammo remains, and no blanks, treats it as random possibility (shoots himself which is very funny to see but anyway should be fixed; knows only one type of ammo remained but still uses glass/beer).
- Game mech: additional colored ammo could be included, for which you cannot determine whether filled with live or blank ammo, only way to know it is to shoot. Counters a bit the glass, and gives value to beer when folded. Must be rare, maybe 1-2 only when 7 or 8 rounds loaded. Similar to it, further randomizer elements could be added on very rare occasion, like weapon malfunction (both live and blank ammo has no damage, but also cannot earn extra turn).
- Gameplay: now player starts each stage, which is a considerable advantage. Could be randomized, or option to offer waiver to start.
No need to write for PvP as suggested by many users already. If it launches once, there could be a hardcore league, every active player could enter once, battle eachother with various system, and when someone loses, would be excluded for the rest of league. Could be associated with seasons(?), at the end of only one truly glorious player remains :) would be fun.
+1: all current system is based on two participant. If only... :D (two opponent, 1vs many or all vs all system etc.)
Hands down of the best horror games to start of 2024. It's a very well-made horror game that has tense moments, the feeling of a table-top game, and has HUGE potential to have an online multiplayer mode (A lot of ppl in the comments agree). Here's my playthrough of it; I had a blast >:)
this game is amazing! everything is easy to understand. wish it had like a hard mode, an endless mode with increasing difficulty, or even an online multiplayer mode. i hope the devs can make this happen bc this is a bomb of a game!
This was so well-made. The final duel between you and the dealer was super well put together. Gratifying ending, and the level of polish is high. Kept me tense throughout the entire experience. Well done. Edit: It also only costs a dollar. That's a steal.
I understand you because I was in your place a few years ago, but something you have to understand is that making mac support is a lot harder than windows/linux. I agree with you fully, but sometimes it's not really an option for the developer.
Game isn't working, it loads with audio and the text but the background is missing the title and shotgun shells. If i hit start i can interact with something but I still have no visuals. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but my immediate thoughts upon finishing it were "Man, this would be a blast to play against friends every now and then." So it definitely doesn't have to be a priority, but a local/online PvP option would be super neat!

Really fun, worth the money.

You have to respect other people's work. Do you really regret $1.20?
It's so good if it was a full game it would be awsome like each stage gets more diffuclt and a option to have multiplayer it would be sick
RUNS GOOD NO ISSUES LUV HOW SERIOUS IT CAN GET THEN THEN HOW FUNNY YOU CAN MAKE IT BE

(: yes, ok i like the idea
i beat it 2nd try
Endless mode and multiplayer mode would be awesome.
Who would go first in multiplayer mode? Rock paper scissors?
prolly coin toss at the start and alternate each turn
Saw Markiplier's video on this and just had to support it. Your style and creativity with such a simple premise is awesome!
And I agree with others, a potential multiplayer mode would be great. Hope this reaches Steam soon!
Well made, simple to pick up, tense situation, perfect atmosphere. Theres a lot of potential for this game.
An endless mode and a multiplayer mode would be so fun!
Agreed
it said that it was not safe to open what do i do
Press the more info button or whatever and press run anyways. It's not a virus
click the fine print and say "run anyway." Your OS doesn't recognize every indie game off itch.io
endless mode would go crazy
How do i even open this game
You should make this game like Inscryption I think that'll be cool.

Is it possible to make a Mac version_ I would love it a lot!
Thanks.

its so worth the dollar, i would love to see and endless mode

Markiplier made a sick video of this game, im glad i was introduced to it and now considering to buy it
im broke but $1.20 wont hurt my savings
the idea of calculating chances is fun, as if im playing poker for money except my game characters life is at stake
Man i want to play this game soooooo bad, i hope it gets a MAC release or even on steam, BTW make a kick starter this is a huge idea.

Fuck, that was amazing, so stressful yet fun, 100% worth the 1.20$. Seriously, buy it.
