I really like this game a lot but unfortunately it was unplayable on my laptop so I had to de-compile the game and start it on the menu scene instead of the pre-intro. I'm currently looking through the code to see what's causing the issue but it's genuinely worth the hassle. Such a well-made narrative experience with the clunky mechanics needed to hit the dreary tone just right
I really wanted to know wtf is this game all about (gameplay) but the window just pops on the bottom-right of my screen. I can’t put on fullscreen neither resize and neither move the window so at least I can manipulate it to show more than the cigarettes-car screen (I can’t do anything about it).
1/10 for this “thinking ahead” of production ability.
It was fixed! Pressing F11.
Anyways, I played for a bit and it’s a good sci-fi (if it was in a book cause I don’t really enjoy games like that – the God of War pressing keys type of game) if anybody is wondering what this game is all about.
Thank you, it worked! I couldn’t even see those lines passing through, the screen was stucked on the first quarter of the screen(left-top) so I would never dare those keys.
lol, 240 paid reviews at the time of writing, maybe he'll make some more fake good reviews later.
There's basically nothing in the game except the intro, volume control, and the f7 button to exit the game. Apparently it's the most important one here.
The gameplay is simply amazing in its depth. You press SPACE to start, then watch the intro, then the game itself loads. There you need to press the F or N buttons, and then SPACE to pick up/or, most likely, interact with the item. Having tried all the buttons, and 100% the keyboard, starting from ESC to the ENTER button on the NUMPAD, nothing happened (surprising, isn't it?). I repeat, what's really here is volume control, game start, and the exit button. It's the most interesting one, I recommend pressing it in the main menu.
The game's deep plot ends there. There's nothing interesting after the intro. I'll assume that there's nothing else at all. And the video on YOUTUBE is either with the full version of the game, for those who gave money, or for those who... are simply allowed to play. Private access... what can you do. But EVEN if this is so, then for the DEMO part of the game this is too little. This is nothing. Considering that the game itself is very small.
in general - a waste of time. But with a beautiful design on the site and graphics.
1\10. 1 - for the fact that the picture\graphics are interesting and unique.
It was made for a game-jam. It’s meant to be a quick development/story.
Also the game is short but quite interesting if you will.
I agree with the Quit button being the best one on the game (cause I don’t enjoy this genre too much, I prefer it on books) mostly because I hate this “press A”, “press B” interaction so I just quit and do whatever else I’m doing in life.
But I tried the game even not enjoying the ride. Personal taste is one thing, I give 5/10. Rage-quit or superficial opinion is another (1/10), like you didn’t even tried the game.
oddly my favorite part of this game was the controls. it serves the wider purpose of the game so fucking well. the experience itself of the game wasnt much but i can tell right now i'm going to be thinking about it for a few days and come to love it more as a result. fucking utterly hopeless. i love it. i'm so sorry that you have to have a body, oh yeah
Hey Anfrexel! I’m working on a unique 3d tower defense game called Grandmother Defence. it’s a third person but with hidden objects mechanics.
Would love to see your take on it! and It’s up on itch.io here https://ahmednaboot.itch.io/grandmother-defence
BTW, it has a 100% high score system — would be epic to see how close you can get! 👀 If you play it, totally drop your score — I dare you to hit 100 😎

I feel like that doesn't count as driving around, my god
hi
What a cruel world...
I love the premise, hate the controls. Although maybe that's the point.
Is they're anyway to force the game to use Opengl instead of Vulkan? Sadly my GPU does mot play nice with Vulkan.
Using the command "
--rendering-driver opengl3
" seemed to do the trick. It was fixed! Pressing F11.

pressing F11 allowed me to go fullscreen
