Just proof that you don't need a long game to have a big impact, this was very well done. Whoever made the music for this game is a genius as well because it was fire.
I made a playthrough on your game if you're interested :)
Played this during a 3 Scary Game Live Stream and I thought it was really good. Took me a bit to get used to the speed and I still didn't beat it. Lol. It was fun though, and I'm defiantly going to try again! First game in video..
this was a ton of fun and i look so stupid trying to beat this. its a really short video and its pro edited. so please give it a watch. love yall!! Iโm posting 2-3 under 5 minute funny moments and reaction compilations a day. Iโm working really hard to make this my career so please at least consider subscribing. But a watch is just fine to
Simple concept, but effective once you put it into play. I would suggest expanding on this idea since I feel like you can get a proper story/game out of it as well. Nice job on it. It would also be interesting if the player were able to throw different things at the monster besides boxes and barrels with the monster reacting differently depending on what it was hit with.
Simplistic and short. Pretty good for something made in two days.
To me, this feels like an extension to CORE, it has that same industrial nightmare feel to it that I absolutely love.
I feel like this is more of an experiment then a game, since it can easily be beaten in under a minute. Not that it diminishes the quality, It's really just my stupid opinion.
I think this idea can/should be expanded upon in future releases. Perhaps make the monster slightly faster or the hallway longer with more turns. Maybe make the monster scream in pain and getting angrier with every object you throw at it.
I also find this to be oddly polished for the timeframe you were given.
Not much else I can critique, all in all it's pretty entertaining and a good game if you have a few minutes to spare.
Thanks for the kind words & review! There is definitely a lot of room for improvement, but I doubt I will be introducing or expanding this mechanic in future games. I think it works for a short horror shot, but anything more than a few minutes and I imagine it would get sort of tedious.
Visually, this was raw and creepy. The atmosphere was impressive, the monster chase sequence and the numbers, which I forgot many, many times. Everything was amazing Mike! Great Job!
For a short horror experience, this one did perfectly!
Although, I have to ask, was the VHS overlay selective from menu? Because it did not show up for me.
Thank you Niven, I really appreciate that. The VHS overlay is actually just for the screenshots and not in-game, I thought it looked cool but I guess it is a bit misleading.
But yeah thank you for the kind words and for continuing to support my games, it's always nice to get feedback from you :)

Great and challenging one
Really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for featuring the game!
Creepy short horror game! Trying to remember the number while being chased down by the entity is a challenge.
Thank you :)
Nice! I liked the mechanic of having to slow down the entity and also remembering the number.
Thank you, really appreciate it :).
