"The Other Side" is out now on Steam,
as part of the Unsorted Horror collection.
GAMEPLAY:
"The Other Side" is a puzzle horror game, where you secretly drill through a reinforced metal wall using a janky drill. You have to repair and maintain the drill throughout the process, using tools and other pieces of equipment to pinpoint and fix the issues that occur.
FEATURES:
- 15-18 minute playthrough.
- Jury-rigged drill that has many configurable components.
- 10 pieces of separate equipment required to maintain the drill.
- No hand holding. Undecorated terminal text will guide your path.
- Original soundtrack by Jabbu.
STORY:
The game takes place in a cramped storage room inside a sprawling, windowless shelter built thousands of years ago. The smell of rust and decay lingers in the air. Nobody thinks about trying to go outside, because they don't know it exists. And those that do - they're quickly eliminated. There's a reason everyone is in this shelter, and the officers make sure everyone stays inside.
After an explosion blew on the surface level, in the doorless, windowless and cramped shelter, the crowd that gathered around all saw a glimpse of The Other Side. After the scene was cleared, and the hole walled off, over 200 people were killed. Nobody must know of the outside.
But they forgot one person.
Ever since, you've been fabricating a drill that can break through the reinforced wall of the shelter. Months of prototyping, noise complaints, bribes and close calls have lead up to this point. Today is the day you escape this hell, and find out the truth.

Interesting how at first feels like it wont be beaten on first try but it's really intuitive and plays really smooth from start to end.
And then the creepy crawler appeared

Man this game is good, very simple and not exactly horror in the normal sense but the ending was what made it worth the play for sure, kind of gave off a silo/wool vibe which was great. Also didn't realise you are the Buckshot roulette guy :D but now I do after looking at your other games which I plan to play 100%

I Replayed This Game Earlier This Day, It Was Still Tons Of Fun
Somehow I got the panel for the oil stuck open while I was trying to screw it shut...And I can't figure out how to fix it, feels like I can't and have to start over.

this game is beatiful, its easily plays on your emotions, in the beginning you feel calm and bored, but then the alarm turns on and the timer begins before the arrival of the guards, along with the red light and the overpowering sound of sirens, you start to worry more and more every minute, and at one moment, you drill the entrance and see a beautiful field, with only a tree in the center, you approach him to soothing music, walk around him, notice a strange note, decide to read it to... and then, play for yourself to find out!
Great story. reminded me of Attack On Titan with the whole giant monsters on the other side of the wall. Super fun and I would love to see a longer more detailed version of this game or just one that is similar.
spiders scare me
It's a good game, but it lacks horror vibes and supernatural creatures. Overall I enjoyed it and the 5 minutes part is stressful XD. Keep it up.
