Will any who's supported your project get a key in steam? I understand, the game is cheap even in steam, but it will be fair if people who supported this game here will get a key.
Bruh wheres the steam key for supporting the game???
We gave u money so u can post this on steam and you spit in our faces. Making it more expensive as well as not caring for the people that supported your game to give it a place on steam!!
This game is a brilliant well made game, I have no problems with it. I will say this as a suggestion to the developers, I believe that people who already bought the game on itch should be entitled to get free keys for the steam version of this game. Other than that I love this game
I agree! Early supporters should get a steam key, especially when developers can make as many as they'd like with no cost and Itch users are a minority compared to the populous that would buy from Steam. This would allow all the updates to be in one place for early supporters who don't want to wait for the Itch.io updates. That being said, I'm also okay buying it again. I ended up buying the game again on steam; it comes included with the OST and they're working hard on making a multiplayer mode. In my mind for the Itch release, you're paying a fraction of the price for the original concept and version of the game. With the Steam release, they're creating a more full-game experience. Mike's other games aren't really given this level of endorsement or expansion, so I think the extra cost is warranted for that reason. So, I think either is fair for the developer, and no one's entitled to a steam key. It'd be a nice gesture though
I understand your point. However, I believe that those who supported the project early on should receive a free Steam key for the Steam version. Steam has a huge number of users, which means the developers could make their money back quickly. It's important to consider the early supporters on itch.io too, even though it's a smaller community, played a vital role in the project. Therefore, it's only right that us early supporters should have access to the Steam version as well. Therefore I firmly believe that us itch.io supporters should be given the opportunity to get a free Steam key, as a way to show appreciation for their early support and loyalty.
seeing people complain about the steam version is so petty, like it's a single dollar, how are you gonna complain that you've been "scammed" or that it's "disrespectul" when yall were begging for a steam version just a month ago.
just don't buy it if you feel like you've been scammed, hell pirate the steam version if you want, there's nothing stopping you.
genuinally people are such penny pinchers, i wonder if the people complaining even like the game.
i will gladly buy this game again and i will gift it to all my friends again.
I agree with your views, but think of a large corporation creating something and charging $100 for it, then a few months later creating the same thing, but tweaking it to where it provides the same functionality, then asking you to rebuy it. It's the same concept, just scaled down to (well-made) Unity game.
Feel betrayed to not get steam key of a game that I've bought and supported in a lot of ways in a day of its release. It is not about money, it is about a message.
Is is not about a message, it is about you feeling entitled to get something you didn’t pay for. Mike advertised 1.0 and even gave you 1.1, and he’s even updating itch with 1.2 without the new items. You’re not losing support, you’re just not getting free DLC and you’re not entitled to it.
I’ve personally talked with the creator. Have you? He does care. He needs to make a living, and getting paid for his work is important. You got what you paid for on itch. You didn’t pay for the Steam items. The creator didn’t know there would be Steam items, he wasn’t withholding them from you. Losing support and not getting free DLC are two very different things.
The creator’s not doing anything wrong here, and you need to stop thinking paying a small one time price gives you access to anything you want. You got what you paid for and you’re not losing it.
Brother, by God, do you think it's fair that I put a game on 1 platform and after everyone buys my game, I just abandon the old one and release it on a new one along with an att and prevent the people who got the game on the old one from getting it the update? the argument that "the creator didn't know there would be Steam items" is flawed precisely because he should give the keys to those who bought his game, if those people knew that they simply couldn't receive the game even though they bought it from itch.io , they would have expected it to come out on Steam and bought it from there. It's not our fault if the developer didn't have planning.
bro, the itch version is literally getting the same new items and updates soon and you’re getting it for less than half of what people are paying on steam
You bought the game for a buck, which is, really, really, really cheap for the amount of effort put into this game and the new version. Learn to respect indie devs.
If he didn't care, I think he would have abandoned this project long ago, don't you think? Clearly, people liked it, loved it actually, and he took notice of that, and improved it.
It's simply filthy and disrespectful to the fans of your game to end support from itch.io just to force them to buy the game again I hope you're happy with it
1- The point is not the price of the product but to repudiate the act of shitting on the heads of all the fans who bought the game on itch.io to prevent more people and companies from doing the same, if this becomes popular it will be difficult to go back . 2- for YOU it was 1.20 for me it was more than that, because I live in another country.
Astoundingly good! the low poly graphics combined with punchy sound effects and low rhythmic music creates such a unique atmosphere. The gameplay is challenging but, with a little practice, can be mastered. Starting up a game feels like beginning a run in Kaycees mod, in the best possible way.

i feel that we should get a steam key...

you can't
Nothing for the people who supported you????

I second this! Not a fan of paying twice, even if the price is low.

I think the steam version's actually worth the extra investment since it has more items and the soundtrack for free.
I bought the soundtrack for like £7 DD: . Glad I did tho
Buckshot roulette is not free now? it had a message saying that it will unlock on april 4

no one should be mad because about a month ago I saw every comment asking for it to be on steam and now that it is your all mad.

Friend, stop trying to defend the indefensible, the creator doesn't give a shit about us who support him.
It's ironic that you say that we are not losing support and in the same text you said that we will not just receive an att that will add more content.
There is no reason why we shouldn't receive the update, the only explanation is greed.
I’ve personally talked with the creator. Have you? He does care. He needs to make a living, and getting paid for his work is important. You got what you paid for on itch. “abandon the old one”
bro, the itch version is literally getting the same new items and updates soon and you’re getting it for less than half of what people are paying on steam
I understand that you can be friends with him, but I want you to understand that this may be unfair to us
You bought the game for a buck, which is, really, really, really cheap for the amount of effort put into this game and the new version. Learn to respect indie devs.
Very well said!
Sorry for the English
If he didn't care, I think he would have abandoned this project long ago, don't you think? Clearly, people liked it, loved it actually, and he took notice of that, and improved it.
"He needs to make a living" - make more games then 👌🏻
And don't try to monetize your game like it's a some skyrim type of sh.
It's simply filthy and disrespectful to the fans of your game to end support from itch.io just to force them to buy the game again I hope you're happy with it
Stop being petty, its one fucking dollar
1- The point is not the price of the product but to repudiate the act of shitting on the heads of all the fans who bought the game on itch.io to prevent more people and companies from doing the same, if this becomes popular it will be difficult to go back . 2- for YOU it was 1.20 for me it was more than that, because I live in another country.
That’s untrue. itch.io support is not ending.
I was just thinking about this game, excited to see its getting a steam release!
will the itch version still update after the steam version is released
Astoundingly good! the low poly graphics combined with punchy sound effects and low rhythmic music creates such a unique atmosphere. The gameplay is challenging but, with a little practice, can be mastered. Starting up a game feels like beginning a run in Kaycees mod, in the best possible way.
por que no me deja comparlo, lo he intentado varias veces
