gonna keep some eyes on this, and i think i'll take a peek at what else you made. seeing more content, either in the form of optional secrets or slight worldbuilding, would be interesting, too. an infinite "see how far you go!" would be very cool- cash prizes for each round you live through. higher stakes, challenges. gives you something to work through across multiple playthroughs. of course, so many ideas on what you can do with such a simple concept...
i love the audio work. you made good choices when picking sounds. everything adds a lot of atmosphere, because you make good work of "less is more" here. you just tell the player what they need to know. which is: you're here to play. and the strange dealer, the concept of russian roulette with a shotgun... it's enough to dig its claws into you. rope you right in. don't know why that works, but it does.
love how impactful shots feel. the way everything goes silent. the screen cuts. then you're jolted back to life. not dead yet. still kicking. you can still feel your arms. you can still play the game. you dance with death, and you pray you called the right shots.
this mysterious dealer... something tells me i never "won" the game. you don't just kill god without a caveat...
I love this game and I play it on my school laptop (I did actually buy the game) HOWEVER it won't open on my main pc (which has better specs) and I keep getting this error. It give me a way of solving it but im not exactly sure how to use the command so any help is appreciated
hi I bought the game when I played it and beat the dealer at the end it says press any key to exit why dose it allways fully shut down the game so I got to open it all again
Loved this game. Even after watching a full playthrough, I had to get it.
I wanted to see how the magnifying glass worked, and see if I could beat it myself.
Got it in 6 door kicks 🙄😎, although I first had some trouble recording gameplay footage through OBS for some reason.
The sounds are epic, satisfying, and crisp. The shotgun, the main object of the game, sounds real in its handling: when it's near you, it sounds near. A metal part that looks like it should go "clink" does indeed go clink. Not a sound effect out of place that I noticed.
The music is also nice and gets you in the high stakes mood, with the club beats droning on, putting you in "The Zone" as you risk your life in the game. No cheap jumpscares present or needed for all the tension the atmosphere creates.
The DEALER is crazy but fair. Unlike the Concrete Tremor game which seemed quite imbalanced and almost impossible to win, this game is more fleshed out as a "game" and much less as a narrative device, relying less on scripted rounds, which adds much replayability.
I definitely wouldn't call the DEALER "crooked"... Unless it's referring to his face after a live round.
5⭐ Stars. Please add multiplayer with some other additional mechanics to keep it interesting.
oh, man, wish i saw this before i blindly wrote my own comment haha! yeah, i agree with a ton of the stuff here, especially about the sfx and music. things just have that satisfying feel to them... it acknowledges the raw power these guns have in a life/death situation. love it!
i'm not sure i really care for multiplayer myself, since it's a lot of work for one dev to do sometimes. but i'm not really opposed to it, either? i just think i'd rather know more about the world. i'd rather know more about the dealer. i'd rather know the smoker. the nightclub.
it's definitely just a matter of what people personally want out of a game, i think everyone just wants "more". i'd love some more mechanics either way or just something to work towards.
I'd also want to get to know more of the world, as you said. Like a different game exploring the nightclub, stuff with the smoker (is he the DEALER's doctor?), and other things like that. Maybe how the DEALER came to be the DEALER.
It definitely has enough stuff for the dev to flesh out the world and make it a whole "Buckshot Roulette" universe, if you will.
You definitely have something good here for sure. Money at the end could definitely be used to purchase like charms for the shotgun, or to put on the table. Wish their was an endless mode of some sort. Also would like a little more difficulty with it, only played twice so far but the ai made some odd decisions when it was an easy win for him. Love the vibe, maybe even more variety of like bassy club music. Can't wait to see what you do with it, if not still had a great time for the start up. Thank you!
Honestly, it's a great game. It would be nice that you wouldn't be kicked from game upon completion and that you could use the money for something, like unlocking levels, skins or new items on the table.
Any chance we can get a endless mode using phase 1 and/or 2's item mechanics with round 3's life system. Could even add a little leaderboard in one of the bathroom stalls with [name] - [rounds lasted].
At the vary least, can we get a option to go back to the main menu instead of closing the .exe on completion?
Really creative horror game! It was fun but i was confused like the whole time i was playing it because i didn't understand how the bullet colors and odds worked. But thats just cuz im dum lol. Deffinetly worth $1. Also made a video about it so thats nice

The game is very good, without a doubt, just that I would have liked it to be longer or that when you finish with the guy at the end he appears as the owner of the place to challenge you for more money or you leave with what you got, it's just a suggestion
