Most of the game happens in just one room, but it was awesome.

Thank you :)

:v

Thanks for featuring the game! That's really kind of you

pls made something like this again but longer,

nice game.

The ending gave me the Creeps!
Good game !

Awesome game.

I hope you revisit this project or the concept of it. The introduction of how to make the repairs, then a sudden rush of having to do them under pressure with pressing time, and the relief that your free short lived for there was an impeding doom all along. Great work

Thanks, really glad you liked it!:)

fantastic game

Thank you :)

I really liked playing this game. Handling the drill was really satisfying. And the ending is cool too! Would play more games like this.

Nice game! Wasn't what I expected (in a good way) and spooked me out. That timer had my heart going.

Thanks for playing!

I'm hung up at the oil & coolant level. I can't seem to drop the screwdriver in order to pick up the two containers of fluid. What am I doing wrong?

Nevermind, the key to drop things is Q. A keybindings guide would be helpful though!

Fun game!

Thanks for playing! :)

loved the atmosphere of the game and the overall premise. masterpiece! kept looking in that dark starting room for something to jump out at me...

Thank you so much! :)

wow this is sooooo good!!! Really excited to check out your other games now. Loved the atmosphere, great puzzles, really clever use of the combination of the space/puzzles/timer, and I loved the end!

Awesome, thank you so much! Really glad you liked it :)

I had a great time playing! It was super fun and anxiety inducing at the same time, keep up the good work! :)

Thanks for the kind words! :)

:D game for Fun, thank you !

Really solid pacing make this a harrowing and exciting way to spend a bit of time. My only critique is that you should consider adding a gamma slider. In, ah, part two, especially, this might be an accessibility issue for some. Great work and best wishes on the next thing.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback!

A tense and horrifying experience. Loved it. Would love to see this concept expanded more :)

Thank you :)

Found a bug, but on a restart that was super fun! Great problem solving game!

Glad you got it fixed. Thanks for playing!

Fun game! I poked my nose into the game files and had a small laugh about what the entity was, great atmospheric tension!

Haha that's funny, thanks for playing. Also I love that thumbnail :D

Thanks a lot! :)

game would be good ,whish we had more lore and information being given. But it was clean on the design.

Thank you :)

Okay.. that was a super awesome premise for a game. Had me on edge and thought I was gonna get caught.. and that ending... Reminds me of 10 Cloverfield Ln!

Race Against Time to
The Other Side - Full Game

Hey thanks for making this it was a really cool concept and I enjoyed it. Took me a minute to realize what to do but I got it down and it made the game more fun. Check out my playthrough here

Awesome! Thank you so much!

I really liked this!  The interactivity of maintaining the drill was really satisfying and added a lot of urgency to the game.

A couple of times I tried to do preventative maintenance, such as when the battery died I would try to refill the fluid levels, but noticed that they were only "Full" or "Empty".

This was a clever design choice to prevent me from working ahead and defeating the game's primary urgency mechanic, so well done there haha.

Overall I really enjoyed this.  Very atmospheric and the chunky feel of the drill made it satisfying to interact with.

(Spoilers!)

Also, the creature at the end was friend-shaped.

Thanks for playing! I really appreciate the feedback :)

also mike, is there any way i could contact you about a possible game?

Thanks for playing! If you go to my profile then you'll find my contact e-mail.

awesome, will chuck you one now!

hey mike, really loved the game. i have really bad anger issues and raged quit a game, i opened this one up cause to see how i'd go and it actually helped a lot. i stopped when the security section kicked in cause i was already pretty stressed, angry and anxious. but that short little experience of just moving around and clicking things made me calm down so i'm gonna play this a bit more.

i'm in the negatives with money at the moment XD but i'm willing to donate extra if you could maybe add a few things and make it a seperate download (so you don't have to change it for everyone else), this is just so it could maybe help us with some sort of issue to feel more enjoyment with the game.

• make the errors rng so it feels like a slightly different game each time

• able to click buttons on the computer really fast or if you look at the keyboard/ click on it - you can type random keys to make it feel like you're doing something (clicking mechanical keys help me too). a cool thing is when it says to press 5 buttons, you can technically type out start. so maybe do something where you can just type start rather than click the buttons?

• if you do make it a separate download (i'm new to itch.io and this is my first game so i don't know if that's possible), perhaps stop the game at the first wall so if someone's already stressed or something like that they don't have to deal with being timed and what not.

that's about it. other than that the game was awesome to me: the sound design, the music, the gameplay, everything. for something so simple it was so effective. so yeah, those are just some things i'd like to play with when i'm just going through an outburst and even stress/anxiety.

in the meantime, i've seen you've got some other games and was wondering if some of them are at all like this one? so far i'm looking at control room and system upkeep and they look pretty good... like i said, i'm willing to pay extra for this separate game file, thanks mike

Made it in the first try. Great 10-ish minutes of my time. Thank you!

You're welcome, thanks for playing! :)

I mean it! It's like how games should be made. It literally is 160MB or something? Had atmosphere, had action, had tension and good music. No bugs. What else you need?!

Thank you again.

PS: Do you have anything else? I was lazy to look around for now :D

PS2: nevermind, I forgot how to use itch. I found your others :)

I recommend Film Morbid & Control Room Alpha. CORE is also good, but it is a bit more difficult than other games. And thanks for the kind words, that means a lot!

Fantastic little game! I really liked the story of it, very surprised by the twist at the end! Really loved how the "good" ending gave new meaning to the "bad" ending.

Thank you :)

Very good and well put together game. Drill-Maintenance and difficulty progression is well balanced and fun to play, the mood-atmosphere of the whole history + the music does a very good job along the entire thing... Here's my Playthrough (2K-1440p,HQAudio,NoCommentary,NoCam):

the mid-game tension is the best part but the end is just a wholesome rewarding climax with an unexpected end... Absolutely fantastic.

For the Game Developer: Feel free to use my video if you wish; to cut some segments to make your own Video-Teaser-Trailer or whatever to showcase your game.

Thanks a lot to give us the opportunity to play your game

This game is really fun and funny also how I kept arguing with the drill because it kept needing maintenance. This game also got my anxiety going alot too towards the end.
